--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3.4. Bugs and Comments

Video refresh rate:
The refresh rate selection is not available on Windows 98 and Windows ME.
The refresh rate can be selected only by the desktop properties. This is not a
bug but only a different way of working under Windows 98 and Windows ME.
Always select the higher refresh rate your monitor supports. This gives you
a smoother game play and comfortable vision.

Sound compatibility:
Beyond Good & Evil uses EAX Unified(TM) which makes the Real-Time EAX processing
compatible with EAX 1.0, 2.0 (SBLive !) and 3.0 (Audigy & Extigy).
The Game has not been tested on quadraphonic & Surround systems.

Antialiasing:
If your video card drivers allows you to force antialiasing, PLEASE DISABLE DON'T FORCE IT,
otherwise problems may arise (e.g. the game runs, but the graphics are corrupted or not showed at all).

Driver version detection:
The detection of drivers that are not up-to-date may fail.
If you have installed up-to-date drivers, just ignore it.

Compatibility settings:
The Setting Application scans your PC configuration and tries to set-up the game in
the better way. Anyway this process can fail and future drivers can change things.
Compatibility settings allow you to manually set-up the game. There is not need to
know what the options mean. You can simply starts to deselect options one on one
until the game works and performances are acceptable. You can always restore the
original compatibility settings using the Autodetect button.

Graphic corruption at game start up:
On certain systems you can experience temporary graphic corruption when
the game starts. If this problem is persistent on your system or you want to avoid it
completely please disable "Multi vertex stream" on the
"Setting application -> Advanced setting -> Compatibility".

Uninstall Issue :
If you cannot uninstall the game, please launch setup.exe from CD 1
To avoid such problems, please always reboot after uninstall

Control Setting Issue :
on some PC keyboard, you may encounter problems if Right ALt and Left Ctrl keys
are mapped to different actions.

Motherboard drivers & Bios Setting :
If you experiment crashes please be sure to have up to date motherboard
drivers installed on your machine.
If you have a particular bios setting and the game still crash,
try to restaure the default setting (or safe setting)
